Welcome To Seva in Action

Seva-in-Action, was initiated in 1985 to minimize the gap that exists between the needs and provisions required for people with disabilities. The goal is to provide comprehensive & holistic rehabilitation services for all disabled people in rural areas. We strive to develop services based on the strengths and the socio-cultural fabric of our society.

The comprehensive rehabilitation programme includes the following services for persons with disabilities (pwds): Medical rehabilitation & follow-up, Early intervention programme, Educational Rehabilitation - Special & Inclusive Education for disabled children, Economic Rehabilitation through pre-vocational and vocational training, organising training programmes for parents teachers, CBR workers & trainers, and interconnection with Govt & Non-Govt. Organisations to promote public policies for PWDs is another important aspect of Seva-in-Action.
