It seeks to equip them with all the necessary knowledge and tools, in developing their skills and getting open wage employment or engage them with meaningful livelihood opportunities.

Admission Process

Filling the Registration Form

  • Providing details regarding Pre-vocation, SDT, and offering counseling services if required
  • If parents express readiness for admission, informing them about the next assessment date
  • Conducting counseling sessions and candidate functional assessments in specific formats, involving parents
  • Presenting a comprehensive briefing on the fees structure
  • Assisting with the completion of the admission form
  • Requesting the necessary documents for admission, including passport size photographs, Disability Certificate - UDID, Aadhar card, and BPL card
  • Providing information about the training center's rules and regulations

Additional Information for Parents/Guardians/Candidates/Students

  • Adherence to the training schedule is essential
  • Parental involvement is required and highly encouraged
  • Training sessions are scheduled for 5 days a week
  • Attendance at parents' meetings is mandatory
  • There is no specific uniform requirement
  • Students should bring their own lunch box
  • We do not guarantee job placements; our focus is on skill development
  • We tailor skill training plans based on each student's abilities, interests, and limitations
  • Prior to skill training, we offer pre-vocational training, depending on the students' needs and readiness

FAQ's

How do I register/admit my ward (Son/Daughter) for particular training?

  • Step 1. Need to register with Seva-in-Action by filling the registration form (click here to fill the form)
  • Step 2. We counsel the registered candidates along with their parents/guardians.
  • Step 3. We will conduct 15 days observation period for those who were selected.
  • Step 4. We will assess the candidate.
  • Step 5. We will admit the candidate for the particular training which is suitable for them.

What is the expectation of SiA from the parents/guardians during the training period?

SiA expects full or partial involvement of the parents/guardians depending upon the needs of the beneficiaries.

Whether Pre-Vocation/Skill Development Training at Seva-in-Action will help if my ward (Son/Daughter) has taken any training or worked in any organization/company as interns?

It will be value-added for your ward for further training and he can be trained further in specific domain depending on his/her interest & potential.

Will my Ward’s education & work experience help him/her to get a job immediately?

No, we will observe the candidate’s skill & update skill and he/she may wait for the opportunity to get the job.
