Santhosh Kumar is a person with Intellectual Disability. He experienced the 1st time SAFI convention at Udaipur, Rajasthan. He got confident on SAFI training & participated 2nd time SAFI convention at Nagda, Madhya Pradesh. In office bearers’ election he contested & selected as Member of SAFI.

Deepak is person with cerebral palsy from Ramanagara, Karnataka. He 1st time participated in Udaipur, Rajasthan & elected as Treasurer. He elected as Treasurer for second term 3 years’ office bearers’ election of SAFI at Nagda, Madhya Pradesh.

Abhishek is Intellectual Disability from Raichuru, Karnataka. He is a member of SAFI & he participated 1st time SAFI convention at Nagda, Madhya Pradesh, 2019. SAFI conducted office bearers’ election and he contested & elected as Joint-Secretary of SAFI.

Mahalakshmi is a person with Cerebral Palsy & intellectual disability. Her left limbs & leg affected with pronounced disability. She studied up to 7th standard in mainstream school, she discontinued her education due to lack of inclusive atmosphere.

She undergone training in the Skill Development unit at SiA. She learnt life skills and enhanced her potential further through Self Advocacy training. She elected as 1st president of Self-Advocates Forum of India (SAFI) at New Delhi among 83 self-advocates and continued for 3 years successfully. During time of her SAFI presidential tenure, she attended many national conventions held in Rajasthan, & Bengaluru. She also attended national parents meet at Jalandhar, Punjab where she was honoured from the parents group.

She shared the stage with former Governor of Karnataka Shri. Vajubhai Vala at SAFI convention, Bengaluru. After 3 years she contents again & elected as Vice-President of SAFI.

Now Mahalkshmi is working as an Asst. Teacher in Pre-vocational unit, SiA.
