Course: Inclusive Education

The aim is to prepare stakeholders to build an inclusive & equitable learning environment to support children who struggle with the learning in the classroom.

Objectives:

To enable participants to

1. Understand Children with diverse needs & their specific needs in the context of Education – disability, inclusion & 3 TIER support system
2. Build an Inclusive & equitable learning environment at School level
3. Appreciate inclusion from social justice perspective

Overall Expectations from the Participants:

1. To attend & participate actively in all the virtual sessions
2. To complete the assignments in time
3. To share a reflection on their learning and takeaways of how they are going to practice inclusion in their work

Duration: 18 sessions in 6 Weeks (1x3 hrs sessions direct teachings)

Course Transactions: Attending synchronous sessions, Readings, Narratives/Case Study, Videos, Assignments, Discussion’s forums, Webinars

Timing: 1 hr per session (Evening time in weekdays & Morning time in Weekend)

Certification: Participants who complete Virtual IE Course with assignments & 90% attendance, will receive a certificate from Seva-in-Action.

This virtual course on IE is open for HMs, practising teachers, special/Resource teachers, Community Education Facilitators & Parents
